<p>Playing Kerala Lottery is not considered legal in India. But if the state government wants, it can officially organize the lottery game in its state. The Lottery Act 1998 says that it can be played in some states in India because it is approved by the government there. And is under the government. This game can be played in some states but it has some rules which need to be followed:</p>
<ul>
<li>- The Kerala lottery prize will not be given on the basis of any single digit.</li>
<li>- The state government will sell the tickets itself or through registered distributor sales agents.</li>
<li>- All the draws of lotteries will be conducted by the state government.</li>
<li>- If the prize money is not claimed within the time fixed by the state government or the name of the biggest prize money is not revealed, then it will become the property of the state government.</li>
<li>- The money earned on the sale of lottery tickets will be transferred to the public account of the state.</li>
<li>- The state government will put its logo on the Kerala lottery ticket so that its validity can be proved.</li>
<li>- The place of draw of lottery will be decided in the same state where that lottery is held.</li>
<li>- The state government will decide the timing of the lucky draw.</li>
<li>- No lottery can have more than six bumper draws in a year.</li>
<li>- There will be only one draw of any lottery in a week.</li>
<li>- If the Central Government gives any instructions related to this, then the State Government will have to follow it.</li>
